If you and your Valentine have just started dating, head to the Creamistry for a delicious Valentine’s chocolate truffle ice cream dessert topped with chocolate chips and raspberry sauce. It’s romantic without being over the top. You can also surprise your sweetie by calling ahead of time to have the Creamistry make a batch of chocolate covered strawberries or one of their four uniquely designed Valentine’s grams for your date.
3. Valentine’s Murder Mystery Event
On February 13, bring your love to a 1960s Valentine’s comedy murder mystery show at McCormick and Schmicks in the Pilsner room from 7:30pm to 11pm. This event will include appetizers and a gourmet, four-course seated meal, prizes, a funny show, and an optional costume contest. They will also be offering a full bar. Admission is $95 per person.
4. Valentine’s Day Museum Event
Valentine’s Day is spent celebrating those you love, which also includes your cherished tiny tots. The Pretend City Children’s Museum will be hosting a Valentine’s Day event from 10am to 4pm. This event will include a special love-themed story time, delightful games, and a poetry play. Kids and adults will also have an exciting time creating Valentine’s art pieces along with participating in their love-themed scavenger hunt. This celebration of love event is free with museum admission. Reservations aren’t required.
