As one of the newest additions to the Irvine real estate market, the Great Park neighborhood has quickly become one of the more popular places to call home in the city. Since the first Great Park homes debuted at Pavilion Park in 2013, the builders have experienced difficulty keeping up with demand, particularly over the past year as new housing has gained in popularity throughout the country. Out of the new inventory that has been released since 2013, there are currently only 9 new Pavilion Park homes remaining for purchase, with a price range of $785,000 to $1.55 million.
While potential buyers interested in purchasing a new Great Park home may be discouraged by the lack of inventory, fear not…brand new homes are on the way! According to a news release from the Great Park neighborhood website, the next stage of Great Park will shortly enter development. The new community will be called Beacon Park and will consist of detached single family Irvine homes, detached townhomes, and attached condos. The initial plans are for approximately 1,000 pieces of real estate, although this could grow as plans are finalized. There will be 9 developers building Beacon Park real estate, 7 of which worked on Pavilion Park. There will also be some commercial development in Beacon Park, and the plans will probably adhere pretty closely to Pavilion Park with regards with regards to walkability and outdoor living. The first models may be released towards the end of this summer, but stay tuned for more updates as we receive them.
