Few people can appreciate a good cup of coffee like the busy agents at Irvine Residential Living, that said, we are more than happy to share some of our favorites spots around town.
Located near the Westpark and Walnut, Irvine, neighborhoods, Coffee Tomo is a great coffee shop for working or socializing, and it has all the caffeinated classics of a national chain but with more character. The best thing about Coffee Tomo, though, is its weekly “happy hour” with 15 percent discounts on various caffeinated items like Americanos or lattes. The pastries are all delicious, too, and there are some seriously tasty pretzels that you can snack on while you work, like a sweet potato cheese pretzel or jalapeño if you like a little spice.
For those in need of a serious study session along with their caffeine fix, you’ll be able to keep topping up while you work at Sootha Coffee. The husband and wife team running the shop are incredibly friendly, the coffee is top notch (think hazelnut lattes, white mochas, and cappuccinos for the seriously caffeine-deprived), and you can even reserve a private and quiet study room if the regular buzz of coffee shops is too distracting for you.
Layer Cake Bakery
If you have a killer sweet tooth and are looking for a sweet treat along with your morning cup of joe, Layer Cake is the perfect place to kill two birds with one stone. They have just about every kind of cookie, cake, cupcake or pie you could possibly imagine, and every rainbow colored macaroon under the sun. Their coffee is pretty great, too, whether you like flavored lattes or a more basic (but still delicious) brew.
If a regular cup of joe just won’t cut it, you may need to upgrade your caffeine fix to Vietnamese iced coffee, and there’s no better place for a cup of the Southeast Asian favorite than BLK Coffee. Traditionally made with sweetened condensed milk for a decadent sugar rush, BLK makes a great version in-house. They also do some tasty and untraditional coffees like a sea salt coffee, as well as a pretty stellar plain old cup of coffee.
Cha FOR TEA
Cha FOR TEA is a bonus on this list, since it’s not technically a coffee shop. But if you’re in need of a caffeine fix and coffee isn’t exactly your thing, or you’re just looking for a change of pace, Cha FOR TEA has just about every kind of tea imaginable, from hot herbal teas to creamy milk bubble teas.
