Features and Amenities
Luxury appointments and a great central location
Chelsea real estate offers the latest in modern upgrades and urban architectural features. Select homes have an inviting front porch, and all floors plans feature some type of outside living, be it a deck, balcony, or sometimes both. Vaulted ceilings open up living rooms in some homes, and you will be enchanted by the gas fireplace while you cozy up at night to read a book or watch TV. Formal dining areas are standard, and the gourmet kitchens offer the newest stainless steel appliances and beautiful granite countertops (with some homes having a center island). Recessed lighting is available in select locations, and natural light is abundant due to numerous windows throughout the home. The bedrooms are laid out with privacy in mind – locations are either on opposite ends of the floor or on different levels.
Chelsea’s central location is advantageous to residents as you are across the street from the 2.2-acre Central Park, complete with an 8,000-square-foot clubhouse and recreation center along with a resort-style pool area and barbeque pavilion. Chelsea homes are also a short distance from the community’s Delancy Park containing picnic tables and a half-court basketball court.
HOA and Property Tax Information
Chelsea homeowners pay monthly HOA dues of $215 and CPW Master HOA fees of $150. Since this is a master-planned community, residents will also pay a Mello-Roos assessment with their bi-yearly property tax bill. Property taxes fall in the 1.1% range, and Mello-Roos taxes begin at $2,400 per year and are calculated based on the square footage of your home.
Irvine Residential Living Review
Chelsea real estate, like the other townhome neighborhoods in Central Park West, is very unique to Southern California as the multi-level townhomes are inspired by homes typically found in urban developments on the East Coast. Some of the townhomes have four levels, meaning a resident occupying a bedroom on the top floor would have to negotiate four flights of stairs to reach the comforts of their bed. The floor plans are laid out nicely, and one of the nice benefits is that each bedroom is afforded good privacy due to the way they are spaced out in the home. Appliances and appointments are top notch (as to be expected in a new community), and the vaulted ceilings in select homes create a nice sense of space. The proximity to The Club and Central Park is a very nice feature, as is the interior location in the community which eliminates traffic noise from Michelson and Jamboree. HOA dues are among the lowest in Central Park West.
