Volunteer As A Great Park Ambassador
Contribute to the future of Irvine's Great Park
Posted on May 12, 2011 by Glen.
As the massive Great Park of Irvine continues to evolve, the City of Irvine is looking for volunteers to aid in the representation of Great Park as one of the future highlights of Orange County. The City is currently looking for volunteers for the Orange County Great Park Ambassador Program, a program where people will volunteer to present aspects of Great Park at special events and with community groups. Great Park Ambassadors will serve as the voice touting the fantastic future of Great Park and what it will mean for Irvine as one of the leading cities of Orange County. Ambassadors will host community groups and conduct presentations, answer questions from the public and distribute information about Great Park, support educational programming activities and a variety of other special events, and represent the Great Park at events held outside of the park. Serving as a Great Park Ambassador is a great way to develop presentation skills and give back to the community, and there is a small stipend involved even though this is a voluntary program.
Great Park is one of the most exciting projects to come to Irvine in quite some time, and the eventual completion of new Irvine homes and Irvine condos in the Great Park neighborhood will only add to the mystique of this project.
