Memorial Day is a time for all Americans to show their support and appreciation for those who serve in our military branches while honoring the brave and selfless individuals who gave their lives in the service of our country and freedom.  This Monday, May 30th, the City of Irvine will do its part in remembering the fallen military service members by hosting a ceremony in their honor.  The Memorial Day ceremony will be held at the Colonel Bill Barber Marine Corps Memorial Park and will start at 10:00am; the Memorial Park is located at 4 Civic Center Plaza in the Westpark neighborhood.  People who attend the ceremony will be able to post a brief remembrance on a memory board and send a card of support to the 2/11 Marine Battalion, which is the adopted unit of Irvine.

For detailed information about the Memorial Day ceremony, please visit the City of Irvine's website.  On behalf of Irvine Residential Living, we express our greatest thanks to our military service members and our condolences to the families who have lost loved ones serving in our military - their sacrifices will never be forgotten.
